I drive a wonderful older Toyota that just won’t die - at 21 years old, she’s been a dependable and easy to maintain vehicle - but nothing lasts forever. Over the last couple years she’s picked up a few noises and a collection of minor performance issues. Since I’m about to do a lot of driving over the next month or so, and it’s still mid pandemic, we decided to find a place that would pick up and return the car for us, and to have them do a thorough assessment and conduct any needed repairs. The initial quote was admittedly a little jarring since I wasn’t anticipating any major repairs but 5 Star provided an incredible itemized list. Small annoyances that I’ve just accepted as parts of an aging vehicle or the result of past mishaps. Normal wear and tear that has resulted in persistent alignment problems. Typical service items that were coming due. They picked up on *everything*. We gave them the go ahead - and it was a week-long process because several things that needed to be replaced were special dealer parts, and there was just a LOT of it. We got the car back and she purred like a kitten. There was one small missed detail - a second passing emissions test after the first one had a high NO reading at 15MPH requiring repair. They came back the same day to pick up the car, do additional tests and minor repairs and return it later that day at no charge. Absolutely SUPERB service - deserving of both their name and a five star review.

This place is AMAZING!! They went above and beyond to help us and we deeply appreciate their time and labor. Thank you so much for getting our old car back in great shape. They’re friendly and polite. They don’t speak down to femme sounding people and give an honest fair estimate. This was an amazing experience. I can’t recommend this place enough. I needed an alignment check for my 71 VW bus and was referred to 5 Star. The minute I walked into the absolutely PRISTINE CLEAN office, I felt this shop was the one! Ned and his team are honest, efficient and get down to fixing or giving good direction to needed repairs. I will be back because I felt I was dealing with stand up, honest people. The 5 Star Team is JUST THAT!!

I have a Lexus and my air condition was having problems. I brought it into the shop in the morning and spoke with Mr. Ned. I explained what I felt was wrong with my air condition and he put on his face mask, checked underneath my dashboard, and immediately diagnosed the problem. He asked when I would like to have the repair done. I asked if he can schedule the repair as soon as possible due to the expected heat wave this weekend. Mr. Ned ordered the part, and asked that I bring my car back for drop off in a couple of hours, which I happily did. Within three hours I received a call that my car was ready for pick up. Mr. Ned promised that my car would be repaired by end of day. Done! Mr. Ned promised that there will not be dirty prints on the interior of my car (because it’s cream interior and any dirt will be visible). Done! Mr. Ned quoted me a price that was fair and honest. Done! He didn’t charge me a penny more than what I was quoted. I will not go to any other auto repair shop after my experience with 5Star Auto Service. Customer service and quality of service are unmatched! This shop deserves the AAA rating! Thanks, Mr. Ned, for saving me from the heat.
