Ned and his crew were efficient and exceptionally competent! He knows cars and 5 Star Auto Service does it right the first time.

I had to get a smog check and showed up on a Feiday morning. They took cAre of me no problem and when I returned to collect my car it was pulled up to the front for me...and this was my first time going here! Talk about customer service! Theresa's no obvious communication between the gentleman at the register and the one on the shop floor but still this nice touch happened apparently seamlessly! Wile I have a regular mechanic I will be back for smog checks and will definitely recommend 5Star Auto to friends.

Have gone to Ned at 5 Star for a few years and always gotten great service and a thorough explanation of what's happening with my cars. Most recently, I needed a smog for a car I was selling. I went to a smog-only place and was told it wouldn't pass for a bunch of non-sense reasons, including the timing being off. Rather than make a bunch of unnecessary repairs, I just brought it to Ned. He looked at it, showed me how the guy was making all kinds of things up (won't go into details) and solved my problem in 10 minutes for a small amount of money. It doesn't get better than that.

My experience here was great - I scheduled an appointment the morning I brought my car in to Ned and told me on the phone that it would take about 45 minutes. When I arrived there was one person in front of me waiting and after they finished working on her car, they went straight to mine. The actual time I spent at the shop was about 30 minutes so have to say thanks again to Ned and team for being spot on (actually better than the original time estimate) with regards to my time spent there and respecting my time overall. I work at Oracle so will definitely refer any friends and/or teammates to 5 Star Auto Service of Belmont! Thanks, Rob

Very prompt service and convenient location. Called in the morning and they were able to fit me in for an oil change. I'm dropped the car off and got a call within 30 minutes to say they were done.
