I have an innate distrust of auto mechanics from my own ignorance around how cars work. That said, 5 Star Auto has always been super helpful, explain what’s wrong in a way I can understand, and have never tried to upsell me unnecessarily. Their prices are better than normal prices (I called around different places after getting my quote to verify that) and the team is friendly to work with. It can get busy, but give them a call to make sure they’re able to fit you in and you’ll be happy you did. They’re the shop I take my car to every time now.

It's always good to have an accountable/reliable auto shop especially when it's within walking distance from your place(drop-off & pickup whenever you wish). It's really a 5 Star auto shop... For years i was going to Toyota dealer in San Bruno, beside the higher charges, I realized they don't perform the maintenance that they claimed such as "we did tier rotation, x point inspections..." mark 2 of your tiers before drop-off...
